Retirement Recital

After performing on the professional opera stage in Europe and the United States for 15 years in such roles as Salome, Tosca, Marie in Wozzeck, Gerhilde in Die Walküre, Tatiana in Eugene Onegin, Mimì in La Bohème, Madama Butterfly, and Nedda in I Pagliacci, I began teaching voice at NAU in 2001.

The excitement of being on stage has been matched only by the joy I have felt in teaching such talented, intelligent, ambitious, and hard-working students at NAU.

I am grateful to all of them, and I am especially honored by those who traveled to Flagstaff to perform on my retirement recital on March 7, 2020. Their loyalty and affection still touches me deeply. I am also grateful for my colleagues at NAU who have made my 19 years there some of the most rewarding of my career.

The new chapter in my life includes teaching private voice lessons and some performing, as well. I have no intention of leaving Flagstaff, which has become my home.
